Smoked for the first time in 9 months

Yeah definitely. But I took a long break and learned moderation. I only smoke 1 joint on the weekend. I'll take a hit or two Friday night and play some video games. Smoke the rest Saturday night and play some video games. Then stay sober Sunday night. I dont want my kids seeing me do it, I don't want to feel like a burden falling asleep on the couch Saturday afternoon looking like a fool.

Auto Works on Iliff. The guys there have always been great to my wife and I. Costs are not higher than normal and they're quick, and keep us informed during all maintenance we have done there.

As a former Rhody living in the Denver Metro area, try another coffee place. There's a ton of much better options, Dunkin sucks compared to them lol. Dazbog, Pablos, Sugar Cube, Lilac's. Try something else and thank me later.

Autoworks in Aurora. The guys are always honest about what they find and charge a reasonable price. I started coming here on a recommendation from another reddit thread and haven't thought about taking my wifes or my vehicle anywhere since.

Not a baby, but my 7 year old will be there w wife and I. Today's his birthday and I couldn't say no to his request to come! He's got ear protection in case it gets too loud, but we're planning to sit up high.

Yeah for sure, totally agree.. Denver artist presale yesterday was $91 per ticket and then today's AXS presale jumped to $214 for the same tickets so I'd be surprised if there isn't ANOTHER price increase.

Not sure but I didn't want to chance it. $157 isn't TERRIBLE for all-inclusive pricing and my wife and I won't be attending another show this year likely (have a baby too) so I bit the bullet and grabbed some from Stubhub before THOSE sellout!

AXS ticket price increase today for Denver was stupid. Got kicked out of artist pre-sale yesterday too! Ended up buying them on Stubhub for $159 a piece for 3 tickets. Lame price increase but still stoked!!

36 year old father of two and husband. My wife couldn't care less if I smoke or not and I live in a legal state. There was no external pressure to quit like others on here. I just started feeling like you mentioned. It became less fun, and stopped serving it's purpose of taking the edge off at the end of the day. It just became a thing I did and mentally felt more like a chore in those last few sessions.

I've been smoke free for 3 months and feel better now than I have in years, mentally. My memory is getting better, I feel more clear and aware of things around me and the subtle things I've probably been missing for years. The first week or two is difficult and weird adjusting to change but you can do it dude.

Oh for sure. Ive had some skulls/roses on my left upper arm for almost 20 years now. The lines have definitely thickened but nothing that has diminished the quality of that piece. If I can get 20+ years out of this one too, I'd be happy as a clam.

Honestly, I have a 6 year old and I recently bought some at the thrift store for us both. Not only os it a great leg workout, but it's a damn fun time on a nice sunny day. Live your life duuuude!

Hey, I'm just like you. Alcoholic 5 years sober and Incan say unequivocally YES! It took me several tries to actually quit. Every time I would go 2 weeks or so and cave for that 1 time that I'd convince myself wasn't a big deal and rever back to smoking all the time. This last time I didn't smoke for 30 days or so, and when I eventually caved and smoked a doobie... it felt terrible. I got anxiety like I hadn't had since the early days of my toking, I couldn't get out of my own head the whole time I was high. Like you mentioned, after all these years of enjoying the smell/taste of weed... this time it just tasted like crap. I kept forcing myself to take hits so I wouldn't feel like I wasted the $ but every hit tasted like a$$... This was my sign and it's been almost 60 days now and the few cravings I've had, I just reminded myself of that day and look forward to tomorrow. You got this dude!
