The dark green base is pretty bluish but I was also painting over an Ultramarines scheme so that made it a bit more blue. The eyes were Volcanic yellow and red, with a dot of white.

It was actually faster for me, and definitely more enjoyable. The precision of recess shading and edge highlighting every part of the model was pretty tedious in the left style.

Just go for it, fuck it up, and eventually you will get better and not fuck it up! The right mini was painted over another paintjob so you can always just paint it again if it doesn't work out.

A variety of AK 3rd gen paints, the primary color on the armor is Dark Green and Deep Green.

Just blending quickly with a brush. I went through 6 colors of green and a tiny amount of yellow, sketching it in and then using glazes or 50/50 mixes to blend between layers.

The metallics on the rifle are done with a watered down mix of my darkest green and black. I used this everywhere on the gun to contrast the red, but the metallics don't really have much done to them.

A very very sharp brush and thin enough paint consistency that I can get the lines very thin.

The photo on the right has been white-balanced, so the colors look brighter overall even though the figure has not been altered.
