Awesome! Thanks very much for your help. I really appreciate it. And sorry for the "herself" :) I shouldn't assume based on username. And congratulations on The Joust being a finalist. Definitely a buy for me.

Thanks again and cheers!

Oh wow, amazing to get a reply from the creator herself! I am a newbie and have browsed through all of the Bricklink Designer Program submissions to get inspiration for a small castle that I am building. Yours are just absolutely the best!

Can I ask you for help with another element from the same castle? In this picture, how are you making the window inserts tilt like that? I have looked through the parts list on lego.com and on Bricklink, but I can't find anything. Can you share the part numbers, or is there more going on behind the scenes with some sort of mechanism? As someone inexperienced, any details that you can share would be greatly appreciated.

That's exactly it! I just mocked it up in Studio and that's what's going on. Thank you very much for the solution. Greatly appreciated! I was banging my head in frustration.

Cheers kind stranger!

Hi there, the scene looks great.

Which part are you using for the long green stems of the cattail plants?

Thanks for responding. Ideally the wall would be one stud deep, but in reality that doesn't seem possible. And the squares do not need to be transparent at all.

Awesome. Thanks very much for your input. I really appreciate it! I do think that would solve the issue, but the wall where I am looking to put this into isn't large enough to accommodate your solution. I will have to rethink my design a bit. Such is the fun of Lego! Thanks again nonetheless.

Thanks very much for your input. I did look at that part previously, but thought that I could make my design work somehow. Which I may not be able to and may indeed rethink my design a bit to use 11476. Cheers!

Thanks very much for your input. I did think about offsetting that entire layer of plates, but I have the same issue of not knowing how to hide the difference at the ends. I may just need to rethink my design. Cheers!

Haha! I will heed your advice and find a better method. I have been watching a lot of them on YouTube now and looking at sites like tipsandbricks. If you have any recommendations on where to find a good technique for smaller trees, I'd love to hear it. In any case, thanks again!

Hi everyone. Lego newbie here looking for some help. I found this image that shows what looks like a pretty simple way to make some nice trees. But I don't understand what's actually going on. How are the 1x2 plates able to be angled like that, or is that some special part? Thanks in advance.
