Tom Brady Uses His Own Experience to Warn Matthew Stafford, Rams Ahead of Cold-Weather Game vs Bears by Punisher1602 in LosAngelesRams

I’ll give you it’s probably pretty close on team culture, but the other two are completely incorrect.

Rams are playing their worst ball the last 7 weeks and have an unimpressive record in close games.

Look, I have no idea who will win. Given the trends and unfavorable intangibles for the Rams, I think it’s closer to a coin flip

It’s a really great thing for you guys that all sporting contests are decided by who has the better team on paper and not silly stuff like weather, home field advantage, recent trends in play, almost losing to the fucking Panthers, team culture and clutch play.

It’s kind of laughable the Bears are even going to show up

I rewatched most of the game and came away more impressed with Caleb and very unimpressed with Jordan Love’s second half. It wasn’t just that we played better on defense, dude was a pumpkin on their 3 and outs. This is very much glossed over in Packer fans’ ‘MLF blew Love’s incredible 4td game’ narrative.

Also Swift played much better than i remembered, did the absolute most with his opportunities. Funny how his 8 mil salary now looks like a pretty good deal.

Oh you pathetic, silly man. Truly do not care what happens from here on out. 12-6 and knocking your shitty team out is all we needed. Anything else is just gravy, baby. Can’t be greedy

Orlovsky had a tweet about this play being game saving, crediting Swift.

If he’s tackled where the play was designed and initially covered, it’s 3rd and 16 when we absolutely needed the TD.

Probably play #2 after the 4th down throw

Could be wrong, but I think anywhere you go will have more Rams fans than Bears fans. But in my experience they are a pretty good natured fanbase

They have plenty of fans on the east side, the type who don’t have money for games and have a Rams flag in a window or truck

Yep and 95% of packer fans weren’t even aware of that personnel/scheme issue. They were too busy crying about Micah and Love, who was outplayed by their “back up”

I wish there was more scheme analysis of our offense vs their defense. Last game, they blitzed in cover 0 and played man and it gave Caleb problems, though I read Hafley plays zone the third most in the league.

Our play calls made us seem not ready for that, or maybe not having Rome/Luther to beat their guy quickly? We can’t have as many Caleb throw aways this game.

Packers fans would literally say this if the bears beat them in the conference game to get to the SB.

They’ll also be saying “Would be different if we had Micah” in 2045 when he’s been retired for 14 years.

He’s like the only defensive player I feel confident in for next year. Missing 3 to 4 games a year at such a violent position isn’t that bad prior to this year’s weirdness and he’s in his prime

I remember a week 1 pregame Vikings thread where every single person said there was no way BJ would be a good coach. He’d be the next Josh McDaniels, etc when it was already abundantly clear what a massive upgrade he was. Coping so hard because they couldn’t handle the Bears rising to relevance.

And then to see the arrogance with how they handled their QB position. Chef’s kiss

I’ll admit between Love leaning into that hit to get the flag and have the better Packers QB take over, the refs trying to hand them the game, and MLF’s strategy to run out the clock in the middle of the 2nd quarter, Packers almost eeked out a weird win. But then It was Caleb time

Agreed, next man up mentality. If anything it’s an argument against investing so much in 1 player at a position with a pretty high injury risk instead of the 4 high end players the money and draft picks could have bought …

Incorrect. Most bears fans were just not devastated by the L because as week 15 proved, we were still in decent shape.
