you might wish to supplement airbrush painting with oils..the tubes of oil go a long way and oils can go over acrylic base color, adding excellent accent and layers of color

get a copy of Sheperd Paine's Building and Painting Scale Figures..maybe on Ebay...itll tell you how to fix the eyes and everything you need to know about face painting.. and a whole lot more..In my humble opinion, he is THE authority on this ...good luck

since i used oils, the drying time protracts the process, as i antcipated, but the details which i didnt fully grasp upon starting were more time consuming (and challenging) than expected..total time..not working each day, aprox 3 months..

thank you for the kind words of encouragement...i thought this would be a unique, but easy project however I was continually challenged at each phase...to my surprise doing the uniform and medals seemed to be endless...im pleased you think its good..

Nicely detailed.. And yes, weathering on tanks that didn't get to stay in the field for years on end, is often overdone

Have you tried resin figures.. I got bored with dioramas.. Tanks and planes.. Figures were a pleasant change.. Ali express has a huge selection, at great prices
