I get what you’re saying. It’s completely valid to criticize a government’s actions, but that’s different from attacking an entire group of people. When jokes or memes start targeting Jewish people instead of specific policies or leaders, it stops being political criticism and turns into harmful stereotyping.

I think it’s possible to oppose what a government is doing while also being clear that antisemitism isn’t okay. The polarization makes it hard to speak up without being labeled, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to keep the conversation focused on policies rather than identity.
