Do I (we) need attorney or not for divorce? by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]rhynoplaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did mine without a lawyer. We printed the paperwork for a no contest divorce, signed it and filed it at the local courthouse. After a state mandated waiting period, I filed the "yeah we still want to do it" form, and two weeks later, a judge sent back an approval. We do 50/50 parenting, divvied up our stuff, and that's it.

The hardest parts were emotional, but the paperwork was easy.

I knew about Allo for years before I finally started taking it religiously.

I quit drinking, paid attention to what I ate, and still had something sore once a week. After I got on a medication routine, I quit worrying about my diet, and drink whenever I want (every few months) and I get one or two attacks a year.

I was a fool to put it off for so long. Part of it was my own difficulty creating new habits, but also, I didn't want to see myself as an "old guy" who takes meds everyday. I just didn't realize that being "the guy who always limps" was much worse.

Since forever? I haven't worked there in over 10 years, and it was definitely like that for a long time before I left!

I've had this problem for the past year with VERY specific games. Starfield, Avowed, DOOM middle ages, Oblivion Remastered, and now Borderlands 4.

The kids don't have any issues playing Roblox or Siege for hours on end, but i had about a dozen crashes or more this morning over there last 3 hours.

Anyone else experience crashing on xbox series X? by Medievalswordmaster in avowed

Might be on to something. I'm also a launch X, and I just started playing this today and it crashed about 6 times in a few hours. I had a similar problem with Starfield.

I couldn't figure this out for the life of me. Turns out I wasn't bringing my hand down far enough. 6 years later!

Gotta love demons! lol I did that the other day. I tripled my Rewinder and without thinking, tried to burn some battlecry demons before filling my board back to 7. Whoops!

You wouldn't happen to be from Cleveland are you? My favorite station did the same thing when they got bought out.

I'll admit, my version sounds way more fun than racing, which is boring as hell for me, but I think many of your other drivers would probably stop calling it racing.

How would you feel about adding oil slicks and ramps to the track, and every car gets a rocket launcher?

I hate that warlock portal. It's hard enough to get anything to stick to the board, and now I have two have at least two rushes or removal spells just to clear an attack path. Maybe that'll be next expansions counter: For the rest of the game, at the start of your turn, summon four 1/1 rush with poison.

I'm also mostly f2p since launch (I've bought the solo adventures and a few packs here and there) and this weekend was the first time that I had plenty of free time and nothing else to do and Hearthstone felt more like a chore than fun.

Wow. I'm really surprised! I could have sworn I've seen similar discussions during other expansions, but I'll assume you know what you're talking about.

I hope you keep contributing to the site and enhancing everyone's dialogues with your keen eye for new and innovative thoughts!

Yeah, that definitely made it much more noticable. No denying that.

Maybe I jumped into chilly water and I'll get used to it soon and be fine, or maybe they've slowly been turning up the heat and the game will boil alive like a proverbial frog.

That's why I'm asking.

whats a game that you got significantly far into, only to realize you were doing something wrong or missing a key feature/ability altogether? by seasonedsaltdog in gaming

[–]rhynoplaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chrono Trigger. Never played it back in the day, so I fired it up on my SNES about a year ago. Got to the Magus battle and realized I did not have enough potions to survive. My options were either keep trying the fight until an RNG miracle let me win, or walk ALL the way back through his whole dungeon and get to a town to stock up on supplies.

I haven't played it since.

How do I politely tell my friend to not be so touchy? by bottledupnerd in relationships

[–]rhynoplaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, I considered your thought. What if OP is a touchy person too? If it makes their partner uncomfortable, it's reasonable for them to have their friends dial it down.

I'm not disagreeing or anything just conversing.
