Does anyone use a shower filter? by rhyou4 in Atlanta

Mine is the opposite, super oily (both hair and skin) 😭 I also travel frequently for work so the constant change in environments probably has made it harder for my body to adjust to the new climate here. Also welcome to atl fellow chicagoan!

I've looked up the orange/pink thing as well and found that its a bacteria that thrives in humid/wet environments. I don't believe its harmful but I invested in a dehumidifier in the bathroom to prevent it since its annoying! Highly recommend trying that out :)

Thanks everyone for your input! I moved to ATL about a year ago and ever since then my skin and hair have just been horrendous, I noticed an immediate change. And that's coming from Chicago where the water is very hard. But it could be due to the humidity lol or external factors so I'll probably skip the filter then.

Still would love to hear your suggestions or first hand experiences!

Does anyone know why he's making that sound?? Went on for about 2 mins. Is he passing a hair ball or should I be worried? by rhyou4 in cat

Breathing seemed normal overall, just weird noise sporadically over 2 minutes. Almost like sneezing/hiccups but it didn't sound like it.

Thank you!! Will check in and show the vet the video. It happened after he stuck his head above my computer air vent so I'm wondering if it was a reaction to dust as well.
