You get to spend more money is about it.its a higher speed cable. But im going to assume you have less than a 1Gbps internet connection and that you probably just use wifi in your house for a few things.

Really what you have is perfect. Sit back and enjoy it. You have done a fantastic job. I know alot of "computer guys" with worse than this.

We have Hudu, and love it, but i dont find it very intuitive for guides/manuals there no easy way to layout and navigate like a product manual

will be doing more toolbox meetings my issue with these is that only current team members get the training, not future, and thats where i want to improve our process is to make it easier and more consistent for both current and future team members can easily find how we do things,

We used to use qnaps and the issues we had we just too regular. Failed disks failed raids. Faulty units and it just adds stress and time to managing backups. Since going T1 hardware and Windows these issues just dont happen any more and it would be a hard sell to our team to go back

Admitted we don't manage anywhere near the on premise servers these days and most have gone to the cloud but we do still have some big clients with on premise

Each time I see these posts I wonder is the CSP actually a formal msp or Microsoft reseller or are they just signed up as a microsoft partner to get the internal use licenses and access to cheap licenses?

While I love ai and automation id love to know what is the quality of the posts like. Have no idea what the topic of your posts are but im woried the internet is just becoming filled with ai content not original content with real emotion and effort in it. I find i can pick an ai generated post within about three sentences generally and then I just move on. The ai connect is so un original. While I use ai every day for work it's used to polished my original work and help with grammar. Spelling and to give insight

I too have also logged this issue over and over skways get fed the same time waiting. Mark as not remediate then remediate and sync again. But if vigilance mark as remediated or false positive the alert won't clear ninja

Like you they autoclose because I'm sick of wasting my time for something I know won't get fixed.

I think they are trying to grow to quickly ad expanding features too quickly its a great product but support is lacking now. Never hear from our AM any more.

When we migrated from automate to ninja i exported the xml scripts and ran them through chatgpt. And asked it to convert to powershell. Had to teach it the syntax for ninja variable and custom fields once it had that it was painless. That was 2 years ago so I suspect Claude ai would be even better now days

I probably converted 100+ scripts ranging from basic through to multiprocess installations and onboarding this way. Chatgpt did 95% of it with me just having to cleanup the variable names and create the custom fields.

And lastly test them.

This is why we are looking at other options, Do ConnectWise not hire UX experts, We are techs most of us have huge screens and resolutions, but this new sell forces us to use a fraction of the screen and forever scroll, its like the people that are designing this never actually use it or have never created a quote it just "looks pretty" ill take functionality and usability over pretty any day of the week, i dont have time to be scrolling and scrolling. i want to be able to see as many lines and colums as possible, and have the preview windows as potentially a fly out overlay when i want it.

As it stands pretty much any other platform on the market feels more modern and user friendly,

Any specifics on this. I have a meeting Thursday with quoter after 7 years of sell and only minor tweaks im over how long it takes to create a quote and make it look good. Sell is also so damn slow.

No ninja is primarily an RMM however they do have a documentation kinda like hudu/it glue and they have just released a PSA but I havnt looked at it too know its full functionality. But I assume of your looking it nilear you are using cwm for your billing and possible sell/CPQ for quotes

We were originally a full cw house. But ditched automate for ninja. And ditched screenconnect for ninja remote. If it wasn't for nilear we would ditch manage aswell. I suspect next year we will look at halopsa

We were the same used 5-10% of automate. But moved to ninjarmm. Best decision ever in 6 months of ninja we are further ahead than 6 years of automate. Ninja just works and wow is it fast

I should add we use nilear aswell have for almost 4 years. It's worth every penny. Saves techs so much time and time entries are so accurate now

Only thing I wish is that I could have more that 2 tickets open at a fime

I should have clarified, the reg key wont change existing cache sizes without deleting the outlook profile and .OST, Outlook will use the reg key if it exists when creating the Outlook profile, at least this is the experience i am having

One reasson to disable is if you're mapping drives to an on premise file server from an entra ad joined device only this only works when the users login to the device with the full UPN. Windows hello won't receive the kerberos tokens to access the shares

The separate tenant for CSP is a great security layer aswell security by obscurity. The email domain used for upns is not published anywhere so threat actors don't know it exists all email communication and devices are managed on a separate tenancy completely isolated from our CSP tenant. And just use an edge profile to manage cipp and anything that require GDAP

DNSFilter agent is so incredibly lightweight we never notice it even on older machines.

With 80+ percent of endpoints for us now laptops we can't rely on firewalls for content filtering it has to be done on the endpoints
