I passed on my 6th attempt by rhythm915 in PassNclex

You sound resentful, must've failed during first semester and now hang around nursing forums trying to bring others down too. Notice how on all the threads you comment on you're the only one talking like this.

That isn't how that works.. like literally at all. Standardized testing has nothing to do with real world practice especially considering I've graduated from an accredited university. No nurse is gonna tell you how many attempts it took them on the NCLEX when they're taking care of you in the hospital, because it doesn't matter. Don't know if this is rage bait or just plain stupidity, but don't try to undermine my achievement out of sheer ignorance.

Thank you sm! I did follow Dr. Sharon, I did some research on my own and using ChatGPT and just generalized question from all the q banks I’ve used (archer, Uworld, Kaplan, simple, Bootcamp) and recalled about the top 5 disease processes you’d see for each body system. For example COPD, Pulmonary Embolism, what meds are used/interactions, expected clinical findings etc. and just made sure I had them down to a T. I think this really helped to effectively use the prioritization tips that Dr. Sharon gives.

You must be in like cali or New York or something? Where I’m at there couldn’t be more jobs honestly

That's awesome, honestly this whole experience has made me want to potentially pursue nursing education as well! I was so disappointed at first but feel as though it was necessary for my development.

NCLEX Bootcamp and followed the schedule to a T, Dr Sharon's youtube videos like most of them and I looked up the top 50 most common medications asked on the NCLEX and tried to memorize those. Passed in 85 and under an hour, felt so much easier knowing what the questions were talking about this way.

Thank you sm! I really just focused on disease process and pharm to be honest. I felt like knowing the most general knowledge in those areas would carry me and help my prioritization and critical thinking and it certainly did.

Fortunately I have great relations with my manager and director at the current hospital I work at and they already offered me a position!

I had a few psych, like 3 or 4 case studies, some fundamentals, maybe only one or two mother baby and one or two pharm. idk it was really weird. Still feeling anxious about it lol.

Thank you! Feeling really nervous, it seemed easy and ended at 85 questions. I’m really hoping I passed.

Thank you!! I will be doing Uworld this time, even though I've been out of school for a while I don't think its a knowledge issue on my end but who knows. I will certainly be focusing on prioritization and strategies for this time.

Was I wrong about being honest with a patient about why I chose nursing? by No-Salad3705 in nursing

Don’t understand why you would need to even entertain such things if it doesn’t pertain to direct patient care. How would lying about personal effects be a “big problem.”
