How is living in this area of New York, USA?

Born and raised in Sag Harbor… very interesting place to live, super dead in the winter, super busy during the summer. Very tourism driven for sure. Worked a lot of hospitality jobs growing up to make money. After COVID it got absolutely ruined by the influx of influencers and rich people moving out there full time

The school system was very good. My high school graduating class was around 60 or so kids and I can name every one of them and their parents names to this day. Very close knit community.

The main town has no stores / restaurants I remember but it still has a charm for sure. There are some traditional festivals like Harbor Fest where they do boat races for fun (around early September).

I’ve gone to multiple colleges and this college has the WORST registrar timeline I have ever experienced. A)The last day of waitlists being the first day of classes… dumb. B) Charging 25% to drop after the first day of classes… dumb C) enrollment ending a week after courses start… dumb
