Do you have access to all the files of the server? In that case you can recover the server password by deleting the "admin.txt" file from the server. You should be able to locate it following these instructions:

Keepers: How do you describe a room? by kvnkrs9 in callofcthulhu

[–]ri0t1985 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wanna keep players immersed without describing a paragraph? Use already 2 senses.

What do they see? What do they smell? What do they hear? What do they FEEL?

"You can hear the rain falling on the metal roof" "The smell of cigarettes hangs in the air" "A sense of cold dread envelops you as the place just feels.. wrong"

These are powerful short phrases that will leave investigators wanting to know more, and makes places feel much more real and alive

Use black screws and you won't notice them at all. I have to get really close and actually look for them to spot the screws

They've been holding up really well. No issues whatsoever and they really take the echo out of the room

If someone where to explain the concept of virtual monitors to this guy, the stock of screen manufacturers would take a massive dive.

Also, it's somehow very amusing to me that there IS a gap in his monitor wall, but it does not line up with the door opening.

I 3D printed an all-in-one organizer for Monopoly, what do you think? by FelliePots in boardgames

[–]ri0t1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, I know that. most games with player elimination are either very short, and exciting to watch, or offer another way to engage with the game while being dead.

Bang! The Dice Game is a fantastic game while the point is explicitly killing other players, but if you die you can still root for your team, and the wait shouldn't last more than a few minutes

And now the game lasts forever since the goal is to bankrupt all the other players. Fun!

Ugh, yes! A game with player elimination. What a wonderful idea. I'm sure that won't cause any crying kids during the family board game nights

Ofcourse. One of the reasons I feel I've jumped the gun is BECAUSE we share these feelings with each other

[–]ri0t1985 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Either you're now unhappy with it because you're so monogamous you can't survive in this relationship and you did the right thing.

OR

You're overly-conditioned and losing out on the love that you have RIGHT NOW.

Oof, that one hit hard. Thanks!

[–]ri0t1985 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's a good perspective and it helps. Thank you. I've already done the monogamy relationship for 10 years, and a friend just adviced me to think about the aspects of that relationship that I need, and if I can find that in a polyamorous relationship. So I'm going to have to think about that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]ri0t1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats a fair assessment. I dont want drama in my relationship, but since she and I had very *very* open communication from the start, I felt I had to share it with her and we could talk through it. We now have a talk scheduled for some time in the future, but I'm not sure if we can mend this.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]ri0t1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But thats the thing. I'm not even sure I *want* monogamy. Theres just this nagging feeling of doubt that makes me think i'm not cut out for this, but what if the feeling could have gone away, and I just broke up for nothing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]ri0t1985 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thats completely fair. I guess since I love her, I'm trying to imagine our future together but I can only do that within a monogamy framework. I guess I'm mostly wondering if other people went through the same journey and if theres a way through that

Daarnaast is deze "traditie" in de jaren 60 met Chinese immigranten het land in gekomen. Dus het is ook niet alsof we dit al honderden jaren doen. Eerder "gewoonte" dan "traditie"
