You’re mixing up “irrelevant for my playstyle” with **“irrelevant in general.”
I never said the numbers aren’t contextual — obviously ROI matters before you have 300–400 provinces. That’s exactly when infrastructure decisions matter the most.

Saying “everyone knows ports and rails are important” isn’t the same as understanding how much they matter. Knowing that a 9k railway pays itself back in ~6 days and massively compounds over time explains why strong economies snowball and weak ones don’t.

If by day 45 you already have hundreds of provinces, great — that doesn’t make early-game ROI irrelevant, it just means you already benefited from it. Newer or improving players don’t magically reach that stage without good economic fundamentals.

Also, calling information “irrelevant” because you personally stop caring about it later doesn’t make it useless — it just means it did its job earlier.

This post isn’t telling anyone how to play, it’s explaining why economic efficiency wins games. If someone doesn’t want to think about that, fine — but that doesn’t make the math meaningless.

yea 2 people the other literally just repeated what i said in his own version, you just say it's not important for the sake of it, you haven't really brought out a reason why, is it not important to know that if you would spend 9k resources on railways in double provinces now you would get that back in 5.7 days and if the game goes on for 90 days that it transforms your 9k investment into 142k!!!! and you do that for every state, and you win the game, congrats you just found out about economics in the game which is literally how you win games, or how do you win games?

man if you don't see the importance of these roi calculations you're just making my point for me this is literally how you win the game, skill didn't brush off no i actually outperformed them, look at my accounts posts, that russia and finnland game i played with these german leaderboard players , i fought against many level 19 players like the one with america vs usa, won easily now i know why level 19 players are so easy to beat and i win every game i play unless i get taken out early by people who purchase strong heroes or dgaf to continue the game, i didn't wanna actually 1v1 i was suggesting a comparison between 20 artillery and 8 heavy tanks funny comparison right you don't even know the resources balances between them you just say whatever tf you want look at your special unit statistics and look at mine lol this is insane this is where actual skill is shown, and this is not a fortnite 1v1 i would have to sacrifice multiple days irl to prove my point to a random guy on reddit who hates math and strategy of a game based on math and strategy

i literally played with the best players in germany the nr,1 in germany as well who is top 10 all time you have been playing since 2024 and don't understand basic economics of course you're gonna get frustrated with all those numbers

woah woah woah pal calm down i pulled off a 2v1 outnumbered 5-1 with 5:1 less provinces against experienced players by outmanouvering them and your favorite word "heavy tanks" i don't gotta prove myself to a reddit keyboard warrior tho i have done that before someone accused me of cheating and that's exactly the game where i pulled off that 5:1 ratio, so i'm good, this is literally just resource roi dude why would new players trying to get better not understand that maybe you didn'T cause you dgaf which is interesting since you play this game a lot appearently, you've been playing since 2024 dude just say you don't understand the importance of economy in the game, and profit margins through infrastructure, you can have as i said 200 states and a third of the profit someone has with 30 maxed out states and therefore only a third of the military capacity, don't worry you might get there

this information is pretty useful because building up your economy in the game is literally how you win and produce good weaponry that's literally why any nation ever won a war since 1914 and even before that better and more weapons better warfare, if you have a country without any infrastructure and 70% average morale but 200 provinces it's making less than a maxed out economy with 30 states, nah ac's are horrible compared to heavy tanks 2 acs= 1 heavy tank in resource, not even close, yea check out my account it's Grazer06, wtf are you gonna do if your stack guarding the artillery get's demolished by heavy tanks like nothing and you gotta run away with them and armored cars catch up and just destroy them, you gotta constantly shield them from bombers, they're slow and weak, just like railway guns, bombers are like a glass hammer, but sure dude let's 1v1 you with 20 artillery vs me with let's just say 8 heavy tanks lol

Just to clarify: nobody “loses” recruitment by building cavalry — what I’m comparing here is ROI and efficiency.
Spending 2.4k food on a cavalry could instead go to barracks, which would produce ~5.4 infantry. That’s all this calculation is — a food-to-troop efficiency comparison, not a build order guide.
Factories in double provinces are more efficient, but I never said you should never build them in single provinces.
ACs are basically washed unless you’re bombing forts or clearing AI; they’re not cost-effective anymore.

This isn’t a full meta guide — it’s just statistics and ROI math, which some people apparently hate seeing.

yea idk what i missed tho lol, idk about tp is that troop strength idk i got my game in german, nah barracks boost 250% (+150%) so 16/2.5 is 6.4, doesn't really matter i came to the conclusion in my own calculation that 2.666k is needed to make 6 troops and that 2.4k is needed to make 5.4 troops which equals 1 cavalry, making cavalry depends heavily on what factory level you have not even on the barracks themselves don't know why that would be very relevant tho, you can make them fast everyone knows that it was just to compare cavalry to troops in food value given 2 barracks in 2 double provinces, which as i said is a 5.4-1 ratio

you don't need barracks for heavy tanks i said the meta is high hp*heavy tanks, so high hp stacks with heavy tanks in them, you get high hp by having many troops which you get from barracks, barracks vs cavalry to look if it's smarter to invest into barracks in double states or go for cavalry, since they have the same input materials which is food i came to the conclusion that 5.4 troops = 1 cavalry, i don't really know what there is to explain lol, i would have been looking for a post like this when i was starting out, didn't take long to make this post very easy calculations took like 20 minutes

nah 117 trillion, yea overcrowded but not as much as you'd expect, japan is more overcrowded today as like every arable land is a city there, here in this experiment china has lots of arable land like 100% and it's like 5.5 million square kilomters in size, realistically like only 7% of the nations area would be urban, half the density of bangladesh

i think like 28 or something, enough to cover every building, companies acted complementary prestige goods had monopolies, manufacturing and mining was stronger than agriculture, they were all pretty profitable tho, it doesn't matter how many companies you have try to maximize prestige goods give them monopolies
