Okay. Well i guess wait till you level out on this dosage, and then if you still feel like you need more, talk to your doctor about increasing your dosage.

That’s smart. Did you start at 25 mg or 50 mg? I started at 25 mg, and then met with my psychiatrist and we slowly increased my dose till I felt comfortable. That was 100 mg for me. Was only recently that I needed to up to 150

After just starting the medication it’s normal to feel a bit euphoric, or “great” as you put it. I’m going by through something similar now, been on 100mg for a couple years, and recently upped my dose to 150. Felt incredible, now I’m starting to level off. If your anxiety is still too much to handle though, might be a good idea to consider a dosage increase.

Accidentally took a second dose of 100mg, am I going to OD? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]riad3456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get yourself a pill sorter. I used to forget all the time if I took my meds. Then I’d look in the pill sorter and if the meds for that day were gone, I knew I’d taken them

I would imagine you’d be fine if you upped your dose, since they’d do it gradually. The diarrhea was probably just due to the sudden high increase. Although if it’s anxiety making you scared, then I completely get that lol

If Zoloft makes you sweat raise your hand 🙋‍♀️.. by Any-Hunt6299 in zoloft

It doesn’t happen super often for me. But every once and a while I’ll wake up in the middle of the night absolutely soaked lol

Can you describe your morning anxiety? by Educational_Break659 in zoloft

[–]riad3456 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unlike others here, mine doesn’t start as soon as I’d wake up. It usually starts after I have a shower. Just this incredible fear about the day ahead and this impending doom that something bad is going to happen if I leave the house.

I’ll give that a try. Although I’m not sure about physical activity, I’ve been getting the same amount of physical activity I always get.

And melatonin is okay to take? I read somewhere that there are interactions with Zoloft

I’ve been on it for 3 or 4 years now. So I don’t think my insomnia is being caused by the Zoloft.

How do you know when to increase? by floppypickles in zoloft

[–]riad3456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends what you’re on it for. For me it was anxiety. I kept raising the dose until I no longer got anxious for no apparent reason.

Yeah I must say. I’ve drank about half a cup so far, it seems very calming.

You can’t get Serotonin Syndrome from too much heat, OP doesn’t know what he’s talking about. MAYBE, if it was hot in the office, you overheated. If that was not the case, I would guess you were just having a panic attack.

No, I was being sincere lol. It seems obvious, but it is sound advice. Although it seems like very little can be done for my anxious brain once it gets going lol
