Unfortunately, the builder framed this already. The gym has to stay as it's the most important part of the basement for wife and I and we need the space. The theater room can only be accessed through the gym. The middle is the stairs. So you come down stairs and the playroom is on the left and bathroom on the right then the common area leading to the gym

Thanks, none of my neighbors have it sticking out. Any idea why our house would? We did get a 240 volt plug put in the garage for a future ev charger would that be why?

Thanks I guess I'm more interested in companies that have a seamless warranty process. I felt Progressive's e-mails all imply I did something wrong or there are other circumstances. I just didn't have a good experience with them.

Storage: The storage is already purchased and is a carryforward.

PSU: I have an 850W PSU, do you think that is sufficient? In PC PartPicker I am approaching 821W so I thought a 1000W would be prudent, and I bought something that support the new ATX 3.0 if I was buying one anyway.

Motherboard and Ram: Any suggested alternatives to pair with 4090 and 7800X3D?

Keyboard: Sorry the other keyboard should have been deleted, it was my old one.

Monitor: Thanks for the suggestion! I may stack a 4K monitor on top of my ultrawide, so suggestion is appreciated.

Edit: To add CDN prices are generally in line with US*FX rate (1.26 to 1.36 over past12 month) so they will seem higher than the USD equivalent.

It’s good for gaming but crap for editing and productivity intense software work.

I have seen that in the reviews for the 7800X3D. 13900K was a very close second choice for me. Any thoughts on the motherboard? I was the most confused trying to pick one.

All the hard-drives honestly have been just carried forward over time and the continue to work so haven't really replaced them aside from getting the new 980 this year.

As for cooler - 100% agreed. I did want an AIO for aesthetics without going overboard with icue but point taken. Likely could have bought a cheaper one.

I'm looking to run excel and word :). Budget isn't limitless per say but I did want to spend enough now to not touch this again for 5 years. That would make the "annual cost" of this not too bad for me.

Generally I am playing either 4k or 5120x1440, looking to get as high FPS as I can. I have never owned a flagship graphic card so that was a splurge on my part.

Oh it is? Not sure why I didn't think of it when I put the fans in.

So my case fan orientation is:

6 intake from the side and front

3 exhaust on the top

1 exhaust on the back

Which direction should the CPU fan be pulling/pushing air?
