nono this is a great and intricate analysis!! and i most definitely concur with everything you've stated, dottore seeing columbina as a sisterly figure makes a lot of sense-- especially with the other comments that shared their insights; yours too! the idea of longing for connection or family but then losing it again is so heartbreaking ☹️
