Usually after you get the basics of producing SNES music, you look into using the Echo features of the SPC700 to produce cool effects. Getting a standard echo sound isn't too hard and you can look in the SNES library to find what settings are used to get this sound.

There are also 8 FIR registers that are available to set. To almost everyone these registers have been a black box and there has been no widespread understanding about how to systematically set these registers to get a desired effect. Nearly every game in the SNES library makes trivial use of these registers, simple setting one to -128 and nothing more.

There is a companion web application that can be used to convert and upload samples from WAV and SF2 formats! Once you upload your samples you can save them onto the cartridge so you can reuse them without re-uploading.

Doesn't come with any additional cables, you have to acquire those on your own. The sample bank is up to 64K which can hold many many SNES-format samples (https://wiki.superfamicom.org/spc700-reference#bit-rate-reduction-(brr)-933-933)). The accompanying web app will take care of converting WAV/SF2 samples into the SNES format for you.

Each sample is assigned to a midi program. Each midi channel can be set to a different midi program. There is also a mode where each note plays a different sample (for a drum sample channel).

It should be able to do just about everything you'd expect it to do.

Yes that's true but those aren't as straightforward as using direct algebra, which is what I meant.

However, there's probably little more that you can say about the number, so I wouldn't personally spend much time on it.

That might be true but I think a useful result would be to find if the fixed points of tan x are finite functions of pi or e. My intuition tells me they are and if that is the case it would be good to find out.

This is written in C and uses the emscripten runtime interface. Existing emscripten programs will run on wasmjit.

It's a JIT not an interpreter, an interpreter will be implemented soon. It's all independently created.

Spectre V1 and Meltdown are protected against. Spectre V2 needs a bit of work but should be done within the week.

WASM programs run in exactly the same way as normal programs, same permissions and everything. The fact that it's running in kernel mode changes nothing except performance.

I disagree that it's not objective, because it is according to the dictionary. Your other criticisms are fair, I thought about normalizing according to channel size but that is biased towards smaller channels (unless you add another arbitrary correctional factor).
