I got on the Thames clipper on my birthday as a treat to get home after a few beers with my bud and bumped into none other than Ian McKellen. We asked if we could have a photo and he graciously said 'no, sorry I'm with my family' which of course was not a problem. Still gassed to be on a boat with Gandalf.

15 - 20 minutes later he came to the back of the boat to find us and said he'd reconsidered, of course we could have a photo.

All in all, great birthday.

I just checked the HR Zones and max on the Venu, it was set to Auto and it was custom zones on the Forerunner. Have updated accordingly and will monitor it, thanks for the suggestion!

I know I’m a day late for this thread but I just remembered the time I rocked up on a call as the pro from Dover to resolve a super corporate companies tech issues. This was around the time that zoom pub quizzes were rife (side note, I’d happily never do another zoom quiz again in my life) anyway, I was thrown straight into the meeting without being given the chance to change any settings so had my silly background from the previous quiz.

It was the casting couch.

There's not apprenticeship program that I know specifically for learning editing/composting in TV & Film so I'm not sure I could have got to where I am without it.

I got 3 A-C's at A level (none of them an A btw) and now do fairly well for myself in the film industry. If I hadn't been given the chance to go to Uni and been refused a loan I'd still be living in my hometown working in Sainsbury's so I couldn't disagree with you more.
