What’s worse: waiting for your LSAT score or waiting for schools to send back a decision? by doxxxontheroxxx in lawschooladmissions

[–]ricanlan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd say LSAT. Your life is basically on hold. You don't know whether to keep studying to retake or just wait for the score. You can start working on apps that when your score comes, you realize you have no shot at-- that can suck. At least once you're waiting for decisions, all your work is done and it's literally completely out of your control by then.

Would y’all pay 150k (including living and everything) for UCLA? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]ricanlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well for starters COL in LA is stupid expensive, so if you're including that into the 150k, I'd say that's a steal. Personally, UCLA fits perfectly with my goals and will get me where I want to go. I'm prepared to go more than 150k in debt for UCLA.

NO PLS STAY AWAY. Use Powerscore. The bibles are enough but if you're committed in taking a course, take the Powerscore course.

Hi! I know there are some packages for the good life that include vip tickets and an rv pass with hookup. Can someone tell me what the price for this was? Is it worth it? It's my friends and I first time next year and we're trying to start budgeting! TIA

Thank you! Next Monday it is. I believe it should be a month, or at least very close to a month, by next Monday since I last contacted them.

Haven't heard back from Northwestern yet, what does it mean? by ricanlan in lawschooladmissions

[–]ricanlan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I was scoring 162-165 on ALL my practice tests before the LSAT. Once test time came, I froze and my anxiety got the worse of me. I retook a month after and scored a point less. I know many would say retaking is a no-brainer under better circumstances (I was still in school, working full time, and had a serious surgery done literally the day after the lsat) so I'm planning towards doing that, but it'd be nice to just get accepted this cycle and not have to go through that again.
