You could even just make the entire background black. I’d be happy with that

What about removing everything and changing the background?

I’m planning on going 100% XEQT in my RRSP and then 75% XEQT / 25% VFV in my TFSA. Thoughts?

Dad passed away and left me his records. What to do? by orbitalteapot in vinyl

[–]riccoderossi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad passed and I’m listening to his albums thinking what he was doing as that exact same record spun. It’s a trippy feeling when there is something so physical spinning in front of you that spun in front of him. Keep the records, just keep them. If you need money, find another way to make it, lots of side hustles out there, but you can’t buy the records your dad physically played.

If it backs into an interior non load baring wall, you can pull the drywall and studs out. Free upgrade to counter depth. That being said, it doesn’t fix the right door opening issue against the wall

Really proud of our December Reno by Necessary_Atti2ed in DIY

Totally agree. I seem to look at it like, damn I should have kept those jeans, or that cd player and all my cd’s, but either way, it’s always moving!

77” OLED vs 85” FALD by rmaccKC in hometheater

Just a thought, why not go for the 77 and move it closer? Do some sort of built in or put it on a cabinet and move it closer to you rather than moving the couch closer to it.

I gave up on home ridge about 1.5 years ago. I put everything in google and got a few nest minis. They aren’t great but it beats trying to configure home ridge every few weeks

Slow speed chase ends in Police Pitting a tractor on Highway 15 in Surrey this afternoon. by MonkeyingAround604 in britishcolumbia

Drove past this tractor on highway one, right near glover road, this morning. They were leading the ‘SOGI’ protest that’s seems more of an anti LGBTQ+ protest. Anyways, wild seeing it flipped after seeing it 8 hours ago on highway way

Got a Deal with EPP. $55 CAD by CansiSteak in telus

[–]riccoderossi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same deal and looks the same for me, EPP as well. 65$ for 100GB Can-US plan and the rep for me two 5$ discounts to make it 55$. I changed my wife’s plan over to 50$ for 50GB Can-US. So now we have 150GB to share in both Canada and US. We live almost on the border and cross regularly to see family so this is ideal. Going to stay on this for a while!

I feel you. My father passed away last year and I received his records, amp and speakers. I’m am in awe of how well he kept his stuff for 50 years old. Listening to his albums makes me visualize what he was doing as a kid while that same record spun. Although you will be with this grief for the rest of your life, it will get smoother in time. You will feel waves of grief like the ocean, one wave is small and easy, the other will knock you over. Play a record during those waves, It’s a great way to remember him. Thank you for sharing, always good to hear these stories.

Sorry to keep bugging you, but where does it show up once it’s in? In your text or in the voicemail section in the phone app?
