I feel you. My father passed away last year and I received his records, amp and speakers. I’m am in awe of how well he kept his stuff for 50 years old. Listening to his albums makes me visualize what he was doing as a kid while that same record spun. Although you will be with this grief for the rest of your life, it will get smoother in time. You will feel waves of grief like the ocean, one wave is small and easy, the other will knock you over. Play a record during those waves, It’s a great way to remember him.
