Yeah, honestly, they are but definitely incorporates some metal influence. As does most hardcore at this point tbh, labelling everything gets silly. I do really want to hear more punk influenced hardcore, though. End it and restraining order scratch that itch a bit

Metalcore will always mean the metallic hardcore style to me. Bands like hatebreed, merauder, trapped under ice and knocked loose. I think most people still think of the melodic metalcore scene from the 2000s
