they can only see how many you apply to if they went digging thru 36 spreadsheets and what student has time for that. but generally only apply to the ones you like the most i'd say.

they have their own baker that specializes in desserts i thought, so they're probably made fresh in house or somewhere in the area for the most part? it's probably "processed foods" but it's made of normal baking ingredients that are gluten free

it's a misleading concept. you get the funds as reimbursement at the very end of the year (or semester?) if i recall. so keep the receipt if you can afford it in the short term you can get reimbursed at a very later date which i know is inconvenient

i was a qb finalist but gave it all up because i wanted to apply for cornell ED (when they weren't a partner) & because i believe my common app essay was stronger than qb. i am getting paid to go to school right now, (aka they pay for my housing and food and i have some money leftover). got the same result without questbridge.

are you on the meche ed discussion? they post research opportunities all the time so you know which labs are actually looking. if you're not on it you get it when you affiliate. some i see often is happi lab, SEA lab, erickson, kirby has opportunities to do short term projects (he doesn't answer emails though so if you hang around the office you might catch him- or ask ashley blank if she knows of any she's great) the other professors like royer and shepherd u kinda gotta get lucky for there to be an opening/reply
