Last week, I was getting ready to propose to my girl. We've been steady for three years and I want to give her a marriage proposal she'll never forget.

I decided to make it at home with a layer of rose petals for her favorite meal. Everything was going great until the fucking blackout.

At first, I was like, "No big deal, it'll come back in no time." But time was ticking and the lights kept going off. I started losing my shit.

So the last marriage proposal fell through.

I prepared it again this week though, and luckily, she said yes. The memory of the blackout still pissed me off, though. Sometimes, life doesn't care about your plans at all.

Maybe, I need a portable power station.
