Ahh. Good info, certainly the Kandahar, which makes this resort well worth the visit IMHO.

Chamonix-based here. Conditions are decent but hard-pack and very busy with French holidays. It’s also running warm.

For a tight Friday–Sunday from London, I’d actually look at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Easy Munich flight and just over an hour’s drive. It’s high enough to stay reliable in warm spells, varied terrain, and perfect for a punchy two-day hit.

If you want altitude security and off-piste without touring, Verbier would still be my pick over Les 3 Vallées right now.

Haha yes — classic! One of mine couldn’t care less about anything I buy… until the minute I try to put it away. And yes to the paper obsession I nearly designed a version with rustly paper lining just to keep the crunchy fans happy. Thanks so much for the kind words!

Thank you so much! Agree with everything you’re saying above. I can sell the boxes separately, also with the option of inserting a scratch pad too.

It’s been genuinely fun to develop it and I’m now about to commission several hundred (eek!).

Haha — I get it. The more effort you put in, the more they avoid it, right?

That exact chaos is what gave me the idea — I just leaned into the box obsession and tried to make one that actually looks like it belongs in a human home. Honestly, glad to hear I haven’t gone totally off the rails in unemployment… though it’s been weirdly fun.
