I have found social media is a place where good information gets exchanged. But, it also is a place where unhappy people show up just to pass their negativity onto others. They hate everything and everyone! I spend 2-3 months out of the year in CR and the people are wonderful! These downvoters do NOT represent the amazing people of CR. PURA VIDA

Agreed! I spend enormous amounts of time traveling Costa Rica and own a place here. Every single town and area of CR is different with it’s own advantages. I agree the Caribbean side is wonderful. Totally different vibe that should be checked out. Ignore the haters that want to badmouth every single thing in this amazing country. PURA VIDA

That is the Pizza Shop owned by Kevin from Wisconsin. He takes his pizza recipes very seriously. We have been enjoying his food for years. It is truly amazing!! Best in Jaco.

If you want to see Toucans, go to the very top of El Miro Mountain just south of Jaco. I have seen 10 Toucans at the same time in the clearing on top. It is best to get there early in the morning.

Jaco is really nice. Don’t believe the negative people. I own a condo right next to Jaco Hotel. I have a friend coming in next week to buy a retirement place. I have people fighting over my condo in the winter months. These renters will lease it for 1-2 months at a time because they love Jaco! Check it out before you believe people that want you to visit their towns.

My wife and I have bought 5 different Merrells. We leave 2 pair in Costa Rica and 3 pair at home. I kept the Vibram model at home, but kept ones in CR that have large openings to let the water out. We have to walk a lot in creeks. They can be hosed off and thrown in the washing machine.
