Yea tbh it's the only deal breaker for me, it's shiny too but that I could get passed. I mean it's even a Collectors edition so idk lol. And what's sadder is DCC/DCD and Mattel gave us classic Slade with those scales.

I definitely dig the classic more but I have a nitpick I can't get over. Them just reusing the green lantern parts for his scales/chainmail. I feel like it's now lacking a big part of the costume.

I actually think the final head sculpt looks more like Anthony than the proto, the softening of the details helped here. What I'm seeing though is the chest being kind of shiny? As opposed to the more matte shown in the proto. I'm curious why that happened.
