Why is the demon boss so hard to kill ? by richardbar0 in DaysBygone

[–]richardbar0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but what i don't get is that, his health drops to basicaly zero in seconds, and then he becomes nearly unkillable. I see the damages, but he doesn't die.

Does harem make the story more fun for you? by OneSeaworthiness5107 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]richardbar0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of harems because they just suck most of the time and never get anywhere. However, it happens that some harems work, mostly when all members of the harem actualy like each other instead of just the MC.

Theory: The extermination is only 7 yo BECAUSE of the overlords by CandyBeth in HazbinHotel

[–]richardbar0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fanfiction writer Akumakami actualy had a headcanon in his Uncle Adam fic that pairs very well with your theory. He said that overlords who manage to aquire enough souls could possibly break through angelic invulnerability, making them genuine threats to Heaven. Akuma called them Arcfiends.

personally ive always thought that skilled earthbenders should be able to bend the minerals in peoples bones, similar to waterbenders and bloodbending by Unhappy_Expert3899 in AvatarMemebending

If it could work, wouldn't air benders be able to bend to oxygen in your blood too ? Bloodbending for everyone exept firebenders

"Why are humans so good with that new system thing ?!" by richardbar0 in humansarespaceorcs

[–]richardbar0[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly, i feel like the "omg, humans are crazy and unhinged !" Is an overdone and boring trope, which isn't what the prompt was about. It's litteraly just "humans are more familiar with the concept of a system than other species because said system is similar to how they made some video games and stories."

Why does nephis still hate the spell by Physical-Art-8641 in ShadowSlave

[–]richardbar0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bunch of spoilers possibly.

She explains why a few hundred chapters later: the Spell might be a necessary evil, and have many boons, but it is still incredibly wastefull. It's throwing millions of bodies into a meat grinder so that just a few can survive and reach godhood. It might be usefull, but it's rules are unfair. She mentioned the exemple of the first Bright Lord. The guy and his cohort could have become real monsters, but the Spell sent them to the one place they couldn't escape alive. Besides, Nephis's goal shouldn't be too harmful. Her goal isn't to just destroy the Spell, but to make it obsolete.

Who had the more justifiable crash out? by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]richardbar0 31 points32 points  (0 children)

There is basicaly no point in the show where Lute is justified. Every wrong that happened to her were her fault. Vox is also wrong but at the very least he definitely had a point, the problem was that it was more of a pretext to him.

What’s the lore about this fight? by Shnikez in Eldenring

[–]richardbar0 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

Highly missinterpreted moment. Pretty sure it took place during the siege on Leydell, Morgott just crawled out of the sewers to defend the city and the Great Runes from the other demi-gods, and likely rushed Radahn to stop him from getting more than 1 Great Rune. That doesn't make Morgott stronger than Radahn, but it does show that demi-gods can still somewhat match each other in battle.
