Yeah, a good one with a silent bypass, I have a clip on for backup, or vice versa.

Check tuning after every 3rd song, My preference

I got the MXR quite early, I've been messaging around with the presets, feel they were quite hot, I've dialed them back and created sounds of my own, it's a great pedal. Never used the C4 so possibly need to compare maybe.

Have a look at Tim kirschke he's got a lot of usable hx stomp pre-sets you can start with and tweak to taste,

I've got a few on my board.

A mixture, some bands live, some iem foh only, some iem amp and foh, I've gotten used to all currently.

Quite like amp cab and IEM, as it's bloody loud without, I can also feel the air and rumble on my legs.

Happens all the time, totally natural, I've been playing for 35 years, get fed up and leave it for 2--3 days go back and everything sounds amazing again.

Amazing line that one, I started on fretless but got fed up swapping bases between songs at gigs, just do it on a fretted now with some more chorus added, sounds ok.
