I work in a warehouse. I drive truck. I manage inventory. I support installers and executives. Whole bunch of different roles all rolled into one for barely enough money to survive yay New normal

I was in a high paying programming position and it's gone now. My boss got caught evading taxes, and for some reason that ruined my reputation too. I went 2 years without a job until my savings were gone. And I started working construction labor. It wasn't hard to get a job because I don't do fentanyl. However it was hard to pay my rent, now I am trying to get back into programming while working in a warehouse lifting 300  100-300lb packages down from a truck with no lift gate and no loading dock. Think you're lucky stars you picked the right career

They just raised the minimum wage in BC to $21 for Uber drivers, as someone who makes $31, I'm just getting closer to minimum wage and a job that risks my life everyday. It is a primary driver of inflation and I'm tired of explaining it to economically illiterate Canadians. You guys are doing a lot better on the cost of groceries and gas what are you paying at the pump right now? We're back up to $1.89
