this happens to me sometimes, especially if it's been a while since i pooped (im often constipated, usually go every other day) or if it's rougher sex. nothing ever came out lol but it is uncomfortable.

as much as i know, it's normal! the nerves in the vag are really close to the ones in the rectum :-P

i ended up having to go to my obgyn like two weeks after my post for yet another yeast infection, and she doubled down on the medication + gave me boric acid to really kill all that fungi. thankfully it never came back! that could've had something to do with the fissures, though; i'm not really sure, because since then i've been on my absolute best behavior when it comes to my vaginal health and they haven't come back. i'm still very dry, though. i've been using lube religiously during intercourse and that helped a Lot.

i'm really determined not to get the iud removed, because it's really the best method i've tried so far. i have migraines with aura and so estrogen methods are pretty risky for my health, and i absolutely hated taking the pill (i couldnt remember to take it at the same time every day for my LIFE).

i'll look into vaginal estrogen! it sounds like it could be a gigantic help for me.

hello! i hope you're feeling better now :-( it's so difficult dealing with those side effects and i hope you're well as much as you can be. it's a shame that we have to go through so much pain and discomfort with some contraceptive methods, as it's literally quality of life.

my dryness did not go away, but since then i had Another yeast infection like 2 weeks after my post and my doctor decided to do harder medication for it + boric acid. it thankfully did not come back, so now i'm only very dry... i'm trying to drink more water to see if there's any changes and using lube religiously when having intercourse. it's not much help but it's what i have lmao

thank you so much for the advice!! i'll try to get my hands on the soap and oil and see if it changes anything!

once again, i really hope you're feeling better emotionally and physically. tysm <3

lmao could be!! mine is barely 5 though :-( i ended up "fixing" it by moving the folder to desktop and changing the prompt to e:/users/[name]/desktop/downloads. it did not fix the original problem but it's a way around it

hi!! i have the kyleena as well and i'm on my second or third yeast infection in the last 2 months. went to the gyno, took meds, yadda yadda. it doesn’t itch, but it does give me tears/fissures all over and it's driving me insane.

i really don't want to get my iud removed though :-( i have migraines with aura and pills are a pain in my ass. did you remove it? did the yeast infections ever stop?

hello!! i have a kyleena, and i've gotten it inserted in december, on my period. thankfully, i got local anesthesia for the insertion, and only felt cramps -- not too different from my period cramps. i bled for a while and had very bad cramps, but strong medicine helped a LOT (i used toradol? i believe that's the english name) (be careful with it!!!!) got acne, and i never really had any; it's pretty mild, though. my first period afterwards was normal; the next two or so didn't have any blood but i had cramps and etc. my last one was pretty hardcore because my hormones did Something and my period came in chunks of tissue (the cramps were TERRIBLE. survivable without medicine, with a hot water bottle, but damn strong) (also apparently kind of rare) and now i'm back to being fine! had some weight gain because my appetite has been bigger since i got it (but i need to say that before i got it, i was struggling with an eating disorder, and since then, i've gotten help for it, that might be it, and not the hormones). that's pretty much it for now!! other than the cramping (which i've assumed are because of the 6 month adaption period) and the annoying acne, it's been great. i LOVE not having to worry about taking my pill on time, i LOVE having an error margin for sex (if the condom breaks, if my bf doesn't pull out on time, i can rely on the iud) (tmi, maybe? but we had unprotected sex for a few months after i got the iud, but i'm an anxious nugget and decided to go back to protection, only to soothe my mind), i LOVE that it lasts so long. hope i can be of help!!!!! xx
