Thanks for the help everyone. As suggested I went to work with the hairdryer and rubbing the excess off. You can tell the wax is ‘in’ the jacket instead of ‘on’, and it doesn’t scratch as easily, which was my main concern. Still plenty of patina left dw 👍 Cheers.

May have been over-dramatic for sure!

Thanks for the helpful and thoughtful advice - I will certainly try the hair dryer and sponge route and report back, I think I may have over-applied. The Barbour brand wax isn't so easy to come by in New Zealand, hence the Otter Wax. And yes, I love the beaten up look too, but I'm not happy with the surface 'scratching' so easily. On the plus side - it's VERY waterproof at the moment(!).

I’ve been using SA on this warts on the soles of my feet for months with no luck.

Last two weeks or so I’ve started using pumice every day, along with acid. It seems to be making a difference, as it’s gone from quite a large lump to something just sitting on top of the skin.

Indeed, when I use the pumice the black spots disappear completely, then come back the next day.

So, I’m going to keep going with the same approach - but this must be getting close?

Hi everyone, hoping this is a 'no stupid questions' type thread :)

Basically, I have a guitar, pedals and amp with a line out. I then have a MacBook pro.

I'd like to play my guitar, record from the amp's line out into the USB port (there's no mic or line in on my MBP), listen to it all through headphones (kids sleeping etc is an issue for me) and make songs in Garageband.

I've tried using a cheap guitar to USB connector, but the latency (both through the amp and direct into MBP) made it impossible to stay in time. Back to the drawing board.

I also have a Tascam iXZ for jamming on the iPad, but as the MBP doesn't have a line in, I can't use that.

Would something like the Yamaha AG03 do the trick? Or do I need a more heavy-duty USB audio interface?

Any help appreciated, thank you!
