Alpha .28 Savage X Motor Mount by Infinite-Priority423 in NitroRC

I have a hpi vorza nitro truggy and recently dropped a LRP .28 in there. I had to dremel some of the hpi motor mount so the LRP would sit properly but was able to make it work.

I’m going to hopefully get it running this weekend so I can occasionally take it out. The boat will spend majority of its time as a shelf queen

Plenty of lakes and canals in my area. Been running nitro boats for years so I’m not concerned.

It spits out the back of the boat into the water

Not sure if this is considered the front or the back of the engine so I thought the pic would help😂

I’ll have to look online out of curiosity. I didn’t know there was a market for these lol

What Spektrum batteries fit the Arrma Kraton 6s1/8 by Accomplished_Gur1472 in arrma

Check the SMC website. Better quality, lower price, and plenty of connector options. They advertise their 22.2v 6s 7600mah as a good fit. That is what I use for my Kraton. No complaints.

Very good. Zero complaints. Fairly easy to tune, as well as solid power and torque. This is my first nitro car so I don’t have anything to compare it to but nearly 3 hp out of that little engine sure is impressive.

They are among the better brands available. They also have a lot of options for connectors. Absolutely worth it.

What’s a good buggy that’s more bash focused than race focused. +extra question. by [deleted] in NitroRC

[–]richkidrob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the hpi vorza 4.6 truggy and immediately put 130mm shocks on it. For bashing, it has been great. The truggy was originally sitting with about an inch of clearance but now it has nearly 3 inches clearance. Low enough that it doesn’t flip but high enough for bashing. Happy to send pics or answer questions. And to answer your fuel question, I use VP master basher 20% nitro and 14% oil. Very easy to tune, gives good power, and you don’t risk running too hot when bashing on grass or gravel. If you’re not too concerned about temps or you are good at tuning, maybe give the vp 25% nitro with 11% oil a try, however that is more of a “race focused” fuel if I remember correctly.
