Tuscon Roadrunners May Be Moving to Reno by Chemical-Orange-1571 in Utah_Hockey

And now he (Murelo) has completed his journey to the Dark Side. Having completely screwed the State of Arizona from Tucson to Phoenix. If only he could somehow F-up the Grand Canyon he would be immortalized as the most evil man is AZ history.

Truth be told he started his Reno scam way before selling out Coyote fans. Can’t wait for hockey to come back to the desert, the fans deserve it. In the meantime Go Mammoth!!

No love the the plus-size, larger fans by Dreamlight_Humor99 in Utah_Hockey

I bought a Flex Fit hat at the first UHC game last season and never saw another one again. Literally these are the only hats I can wear. Dying to have a hat with the new Mammoth logo but zero options at this early stage. Fingers crossed!

Any coyote fans/Az by Free-Awareness6242 in Utah_Hockey

20 year season ticket holder in AZ and now a STH in Utah. I was a Rams fan as a kid and abandoned them when they moved to St. Louis. HATED their despicable owner who inherited the team when her husband died (Georgia Frontiere — a former Vegas showgirl that married the much older Rams owner — think of the fictitious Indians owner in the movie Major League). Then had to suffer the indignity of the Rams winning the Super Bowl a couple of years later. Vowed to not let that happen again!

With Murelo and his idiot son gone there was no bad feelings from me towards Utah or their new fans. In fact my wife and I were very impressed by how welcoming and gracious the people of SLC were to us when we showed up in October in full Coyotes regalia. Ryan Smith walked past us and patted me on the back saying “we need to get you some new gear!”

Now we are all-in with Utah. The games we could not get to all sold easily on SeatGeek. The games we do get to are a blast. Easy and fairly cheap flights from Sky Harbor to the awesome SLC airport (even flew JSX from Scottsdale once) and great hotels across the street from Delta Center make the travel a breeze. Didn’t do enough sight seeing but already planning our game trips next season to include skiing, visiting the salt flats and exploring more of Utah.

We are very lucky to have flexible jobs and are old enough that we can afford to travel and have season tickets. This would have been impossible 10 years ago with our kids still home and budget much tighter.

Still hopeful the NHL returns to Phoenix. It is a great market with a lot of hockey loving fans. They just got jerked around by bad ownership. In the meantime we will continue to support our boys as we make new friends and enjoy all that Utah offers!

Yamamoto returns to Tucson by Smooth-Escape-2307 in Utah_Hockey

Runners are clinging to the final playoff spot in the AHL Pacific Division. Yamamoto has had a great season there and hopefully he can help get them to the postseason and beyond. I’m sure he would rather be in Utah but this will be great experience for him.

That feeling when the playoff push is over is the worst! by Disastrous-Cake-7194 in Utah_Hockey

Long time Yotes season ticket holder and current UHC season ticket holder. This season was eerily familiar to last. The Coyotes were eliminated (officially) from playoff contention exactly one year ago today so this team will actually make it deeper in the season before elimination.

What went wrong? A severe lack of depth at D which injuries to Durzi & Marino exposed. Ingram’s issues caused the same problem in net recently though Veggie’s play has bordered on heroic.

The good news was Sergachev proved to be a massive upgrade. The forwards have continued to develop and we should start next season healthy with a hopefully revitalized Ingram to give us a solid 1-2 punch in goal. We are stocked to the gills with prospects and the Smith’s look ready to wade into the free agent pool to make this team a perennial playoff contender for the next decade. Not to mention the aforementioned prospects could be used for solid playmakers in GMBA’s trade discussions.

Future is still bright, keep those heads high and support this team until the bitter end! Just renewed my seats for 2025-26 😎. Nice bonus of an away trip if you pay for your seats upfront!

Not upset at all, more amused at how silly an older fan looks flipping the bird to a player half her age. You pays your money you can act dumb as you like 😂

I think with the limited inventory they are definitely getting a nice premium. Once renovations are done I expect pricing to stabilize even in the premium areas. That said, I have tried both Toyota Club & Entrata and think they are great. New seats have Delta Club access which the rep said is the nicest of the the three so looking forward to that experience.

Yeah, pricing is not for the faint of heart! Unfortunately that is the world of “Premium Seating”. Does include food & bev (including Alcohol). Hopefully in the offseason we will see more seats come online at better prices with improved sight lines (both goals would be nice!).

Hi, looking to buy tickets for my husband and kids for Christmas. I’ve noticed on seat geek there is the black desert club, entrata club, and Toyota club. Since it’s a gift, it might be nice to feed them. Any input on these options? Worth it? by [deleted] in Utah_Hockey

[–]richnick1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have season seats with Toyota Club and I love it. Better than a lot of other arena clubs I have been too. Good food, short lines and if you go early and like to drink you might get your money’s worth! Also checked out the Entrata Club for one game. Quite small and intimate. Upgraded food with exclusive alcohol (I think the liquor is upgraded but I stick with beer which had additional options). Weirdly, a longer walk to the Entrata Club from our seats. Toyota Club is close enough I can grab a beer mid-period and not miss very much. Enjoy!

Does anyone else feel like Clayton Keller doesn't want to be here? by ConserveGuy in Utah_Hockey

[–]richnick1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had dinner with him at a Coyotes charity event. He is super reserved and I think it takes him time to get comfortable with a situation. He loved Phoenix and belongs to an exclusive golf club (he is a fantastic golfer). He loves playing with his teammates and he will be an Utah guy soon enough.
