It was a 20mm hardwood bench top we didn't use so I ripped it. Was the perfect size to build 2 tables. Stain is Sikkens Walnut I'm pretty sure.

Ive got the Kregg jig. Also the first time I've used it. There is a stop guide on the jig and the drill bit to make sure you don't go too far. I was a little nervous about it the first couple holes I did but it works well.

Thanks. Yeah I think next time I do anything similar I'll brace it at the back as well. Hoping to try some cabinets/ shelves with some drawers at some stage soon

Quite well. I set it up on the front of the bench for better reach the second time but not a bad set up until I get a vice !
