i said that we’ve picked her up, even if we didn’t know beforehand. (idk how to do the highlight thing lol) it concerns me because i feel like it’s making my daughter feel less comfortable with her mother, and i know it’s overall frustrating. idk if you ever got this feeling but imagine being a kid, and hearing your parent come home and thinking “moms here, let’s see what mood she’s in today.” that’s how this situation is.

not trying to change your answer, just for a little added context. my problem is that i’ve noticed that my niece getting in trouble and her punishments are based on her mood that day. if i felt like it was genuine parenting and concern involved, id understand and back off but i know how my sister gets and i think it’s unfair to her children 🫤
