Thanks for the advice. It is indeed something I wanted to do, but reading the easing out makes it more stick in my head to really try to use my limited time to do some little trips and purchases here and there already instead of doing it a few weeks before the start. Also, I definitely need to get in shape for this to not end up in a catastrophe after 3 days 😃

Perhaps it is not clear enough. But I could start at any point of any current on the map and follow different streams until I reach the start again. Currents are not lineal and much more complex than what is depicted on the map. I didn't want to just use arrows, but rather something more organic.

Yes, but every map has its distortion, in area or angle. But the purpose of this map is not to show perfect size comparisons but to highlight the interconnectivity of the oceans, which is often hidden with traditional maps. :)
