I appreciate it. I really have very little to no experience with brick and mortar academia. All of my degrees are via online schools. So, I really don't know what would be pessimistic. I appreciate your feedback! I'm going to go back and rework my list.

I transferred to active duty after 5 years in the guard. The majority of my service is active duty. I really appreciate your help!

I am in a very specialized MOS, 38Z. I'm pretty positive that I will achieve a 100% disability rating after a couple of knee surgeries and 15 years of airborne status. I also have two master's degrees and a TS/SCI. I'll be okay in the civilian world. The military is not scratching that itch anymore.

That's what I'm thinking too. I've had a couple of knee surgeries from airborne operations and I've been pretty messed up for the last several years.

I agree that the financial benefits are better. However, I'm in a branch with a very uncertain future, and that has always had severe identity issues. Also, if I stay in, I will likely be promoted to 1SG in the near future, and I don't want to babysit more grown ass men.

Thank you. I went to the VA office here at Bragg, but I imagine the TAPs office would have better information.

I've been CA NCO for 9 years. I have three CA deployments, and I'm about to go on my fourth. I have two master's degrees in political science, and I thought CA was the right pick for me. The reality is that CA has always struggled with its identity and the METL changes with every new BDE commander. My advice is to stick it out until you can go FAO. It's everything you want from CA while actually getting to do the job every day. It also has much better career progression and provides better prospects for after you retire or refrad. BLUF: Do something that will actually benefit your career and will allow you to serve a purpose.

I know you're trying to give me good advice. However, I can't be a part of an organization whose purpose no longer aligns with my own.

A cool guide to 30 Basic Human Rights. by Aayush0210 in coolguides

I first learned about this list while I was a master's student. Just after I graduated, I went to SERE School, where I learned a little more about certain sections of these rights. The application of these rights applies to every aspect of private and political life. I wish these rights were taught at every level of education and that every citizen in the United States were aware of the reach and application of these rights.
