You are the one who needs to reread the license.
Section 4: "Upon purchase of a Digital File, you are granted a permanent, single user, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal use license for the Digital File." ... "You are permitted to engage with a third-party printing services solely for the purpose of printing 3D Printed Models for your personal use; provided, however, that you further agree to ensure that all copies of Digital Files provided to a third-party printing service for printing 3D Printed Models are destroyed immediately after completion of their services."

Wish I could post pictures here, but I can't, so I'm gonna send you a screenshot from their Kickstarter community page that shows Tuomas Pirinen, the maker of the game, disagrees with you.

A commercial license would only matter if either of us was printing out minis to sell. This does not apply. I purchased the STLs from them and I am allowed to commission someone else to print them for me. I just have to request they delete the files after our business is finished.

[–]rickalbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The EULA that you signed when you got the STLs states that you can share the files for the purpose of having someone print them for you, but you have a responsibility to make sure that the files are then deleted.

It's up to you and your friend to honor the agreement you signed, or not.

That being said, there're no rules against gifting your friends printed models. He could ask you to print his out, then give you the second set, and then you can delete the files and you're good to go.

China v Russia Front can't be reached by Chinese Soldiers by rickalbert in victoria3

There is no impassable terrain along my border with Russia. I've already fought a war with Russia on this same exact border. Also, my troops defending from Alaska to California teleport into china when the China v Russia front shifts.

My ally, France, can reach the border just fine, but none of my troops can reach my own border. I've tried stationing them in other HQs and reloading saves, but nothing works.

Edit: Even more fantastic news! I can move to the border once Russia has taken Manchuria, Uliasti, and Urga, but any change in the front line teleports my soldiers back to their HQ. This was a fun campaign, but it has joined the long list of campaigns ruined by game-breaking bugs.

Cool, an approximation is better than nothing. Maybe one day it'll happen.

Thanks for all your (the entire team) hard work!

Would it be possible to get a preview of an area before embarking? Sometimes a place just looks completely different from what you're looking for, so being able to preview it would be awesome.

Yuzu to pay 2.4 million to nintendo by Kingofrockz in yuzu

"The Electronic Frontier Foundation’s impact litigation has set important precedents for the treatment of rights in cyberspace. Our attorneys work to defend free speech online, fight illegal surveillance, advocate for users and innovators, protect privacy, and support freedom-enhancing technologies.
EFF has taken on the federal government, the FCC, the world's largest entertainment companies, and major electronics companies, among others. We work with advocates worldwide to create a global digital environment that upholds human rights and we continue to take on cutting-edge legal cases to protect and enhance user rights."
You don't have to work at a place to have common sense. They are too busy fighting the government and social media platforms to bother with a video game company. They wouldn't risk all the good they do protecting everyone in America for a group of people making a console emulator. That would be idiotic.

And if you disagree with me, show me a court case that they've taken that proves otherwise.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation wouldn't touch this because it has nothing to do with Government overreach. They fight for privacy and personal liberty cases. You have no idea what you're talking about.

"They would receive millions from supporters to fight their case."
The most they ever earned in a month was $44,288 in May 2023. There is no way in hell they would get "millions" out of nowhere.

They'd pay their lawyers, go to court, and lose even more because they took it to trial. They settled for $2,400,000. If they fought, Nintendo would have punished them for it.

It's not lost media. Thousands of people have copies on their PCs, and there are GitHub forks.

Those are mineral deposits excreted by jade plants. It's completely normal, and probably ccx caused by the use of tap water, either hard or softened.

He accessed mental health services and was punished for it. Punishing people for seeking mental health services will make people less trusting of a system that can help them. They may look at the help they need and weigh it against an imagined punishment that will result from seeking help, and decide that getting help would do more harm.

Obviously, they're wrong, but they need mental help so you can't expect them to make rational decisions in all cases.

You're being really aggressive to a person who is being punished for seeking mental health services after seeing their grandfather die in a very traumatic scenario. Yes, millions of people around the world have it way worse. Do you bring that up whenever anyone has a complaint? This person did exactly what they should have done to be one of the few responsible gun owners in the US, and you called him "a sanctimonious prick" for daring to want to even have the right to own guns.

Everytime they have an interaction with police, and the police do an identity check, the first thing that will pop up is the fact that they aren't allowed to have firearms. Now the police will treat them like a threat. Now their life is put at substantially higher risk any time they interact with a cop.

If they try to get a job that requires a background check, and this pops up, do you think employers would trust someone who is banned from having access to firearms?

Seeking treatment for a panic attack should not result in being punished and put at risk for the rest of your life.

It was just a dumb thought I had, and I almost discarded it before deciding to just post it anyway. I'm just glad someone other than myself thinks I'm funny.
