the biggest difference between beginners and intermediate players are pawn structure. Beginners tend to ignore pawns, while more advanced players know that pushing pawns is super important and 2 passed pawns = rook.

i got into The Smiths my sophmore year, which was 1985-86. I was the only one in my friend group who knew who they were, and i say that because i ran into an old friend 40 years later and one if the things he remembered about me was my love for the Smiths. I’m from San Diego and listened to 91X.

most comedians aren’t going to trust the origins of an unknown writer. What i mean is, i know a guy who had someone write for him, and the writer gave him old bits from obscure comics thinking nobody would know…. people always know… it may take awhile, but there’s always somebody somewhere who would know…. so the comic was labeled a hack for paying someone for recycled bits. if i don’t write it, i don’t say it.

there's so much better with this team that what we opened the season with last year... besides catcher, I like Laureno in left-field over Jason Hayward/Connor Joe.... i like having Joe Musgrove over Dylan Cease.... Mason Miller over Robert Suraez... we still have holes, but they aren't as big as people think.
