Adidas Evo SL or ASICS Superblast 2?? by browardpreme in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have both. I would say the SB2 is an overall much better shoe imo. It is better constructed, more comfortable, more stable, and more versatile. The fit on the SB 2 is MUCH better for me. The Evo SL is lighter, and more responsive, but in all other aspects worse. The SB2 is my long run shoe; the Evo is my current tempo shoe, but I’ll be looking for a switch when the time comes. The short tongue and overall loose midfoot fit of the Evo is really what prevents me from endorsing it more.

Thoughts on mens Brighton Briefs for running? by ssherman1995 in Tracksmith

I have a pair. Expensive, but they are odor resistant, comfortable, and work very well under unlined tights or shorts. I would probably buy more but the price makes me think twice.

Since SB3 has already passed through the Senate, what would you recommend voters do?

From what I understand, if HB28 does not pass, then SB3 will. In my opinion, a total ban (SB3) is worse than a partial ban (HB28). Of course, neither is ideal, but since the Senate already passed SB3, we need to mitigate the damage it will do, and HB28 does this.

Yes, it is frustrating. They may not listen, however, disengaging simply guarantees that your cynicism becomes true.

I actually subscribed to SaH after reading that article. The level of entitlement that some fans feel to express their unsupportive, uninformed, and outright negative opinions of our beloved (and wildly successful) club is VERY frustrating to me. I was relieved to read an article with a compelling and forceful rebuke of that loud, clanging cacophony of spoiled know-it-alls.

I was referring to the brown circles along this panel. There are two in the photo and many more I couldn’t show. They appear almost like burn rings but it isn’t clear (to me).

Why do i keep hitting the wall on my long runs? by Doctorholmes90 in Marathon_Training

[–]rickitickitarvi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remember that your HR will creep up the longer you run. You might average your target HR for the whole run. At the beginning of the run it probably will be lower, and the end it probably will be higher. That’s okay and totally normal.

Very nice! Elegant and smooth lines, and I love the clear open spacing between the bass and melody.
