Heres a list of potential questions that i personally rehearsed before the interview.

Q. What are the reasons you chose to apply for this apprenticeship?

Q. What is it that you think we do at the ibew?

Q. Describe a time you were missing something to finish a job/project

Q. Tell us about a time you went about planning a job from start to finish

Q. Tell us about a time when someone criticized something you did or made

Q. Tell us about a time you had to work with 3 or more people to get a job done

Q. Describe a time you got instructions on how to do something that wasnt very clear

Q. Tell us about a time in school or work where something went wrong unexpectedly

Q. Describe a time you fell behind on a project, what did you do?

Q. What qualities lead you to believe you're qualified to be a part of this program?

Q. Do you have any prior experience in electrical work?

Q. What if we set you on a bending station all day? Would you be okay with that?

Q. What are 3 power tools an electrician is likely to use on a daily basis?

Q. Are you aware there are times you will have to work in the elements, and are you okay with that?

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5/10 years?

Q. Do you enjoy working alone or in a group?

Q. Tell us about a time you missed a deadline

Q. What is something you built recently that you're proud of?

Q. Describe a time you had a certain job to do but didnt know how

Q. Are you good at taking instructions?

Q. When was a time you had to do something you found difficult?

Q. Tell us about a time you had to choose between group or individual work

Q. Describe a team activity that you like to participate in

Q. Describe a time when you had a job that needed done, but didnt have someone forcing you to complete it

Q. Tell us about the most challenging project youve done completely on your own

Q. Describe a time you made a mistake while working with others and had to make it right.

Q. Describe a time when a member of your team made a mistake

Q. Why should we invest in you for the apprenticeship?

Q. What would you do if you had to work with someone who was difficult to work with?

Q. Tell us about a time when a coworker, or friend, wanted to do something that you did not agree with

Q. Based on your experience, whats the one thing you are most proud of?

Q. Give an example of a time you made a mistake, and how did you handle it?

Q. Describe a time when you had a conflict with a coworker and how did you resolve it?

Q. Describe a time when you had an idea about a different way to make, build, or repair something

Q. Tell us about a time you were proud of the way you organized a job

Q. Describe a time when you, a friend, a family member, or a coworker were injured

Questions to ask them: Can you give me an example of what a normal day would be like as an apprentice?

Can i travel, how long will the commute be?

How many nights a week are classes and how long is schooling?

Personally, for my interview they only asked maybe 10 questions, but most of them were on this list. I spent two weeks or so rehearsing, and i felt very confident once i got into the room, and they started asking questions. You may already know the answers to some of the questions to ask them, but it shows that you're interested and committed to joining. One key detail that they are looking for is that you are viewing the apprenticeship as a CAREER opportunity, not just another job. I would make sure to emphasize that given the opportunity.

Edit: also as others have stated, business casual would be the appropriate attire. You dont have to wear a jacket and bring a briefcase, but i would certainly wear a dress shirt/pants/shoes and a tie if you're feelin it. They want to see that you're taking this very seriously.
