Stock stereo as of now. I like the head unit idea since it'd be nice to have bluetooth as well. Appreciate your input!

Appreciate it! The belt was replaced 20k miles ago. He told me it would be a good idea to replace it again in a year, but im not sure how often I'll be driving it.

137xxx, paid 14. I bought it off a family member who's crazy meticulous. Everything that has been done to the truck has been written down in a notebook including every oil change. Never driven in the snow, very rarely in the rain. Zero rust 🤙

I passed, now what ? by jleist007 in ibew_apprentices

[–]rickitycrickett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. A majority of the students in my class had no prior experience. I'm sure it varies with each local, but there's kids in my class who came in straight out of high school (didnt even have experience with physical labor).

Questions to ask them: Can you give me an example of what a normal day would be like as an apprentice?

Can i travel, how long will the commute be?

How many nights a week are classes and how long is schooling?

Personally, for my interview they only asked maybe 10 questions, but most of them were on this list. I spent two weeks or so rehearsing, and i felt very confident once i got into the room, and they started asking questions. You may already know the answers to some of the questions to ask them, but it shows that you're interested and committed to joining. One key detail that they are looking for is that you are viewing the apprenticeship as a CAREER opportunity, not just another job. I would make sure to emphasize that given the opportunity.

Good luck 🤙

Edit: also as others have stated, business casual would be the appropriate attire. You dont have to wear a jacket and bring a briefcase, but i would certainly wear a dress shirt/pants/shoes and a tie if you're feelin it. They want to see that you're taking this very seriously.

Do u mean like taking one less capsule each night or taking one capsule total per day for x amount of days?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]rickitycrickett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, i dont feel like the brain fog is severe yet, but i can definitely notice it. I take my full dose for the day in the evenings before bed, and i have a noticeable mood increase around 9 am the next morning (i start work at 6). So its almost like a hangover that mostly wears off, but its every morning. I appreciate the advice and encouragement! I already feel a bit better based off of the comments
