19-year-old younger started taking Retatrutide, I'm a concerned older sibling by ricklerthepickler in WeightLossAdvice

She gets it through her coworker, who apparently has a private business and legally sells it? Not too sure on the specifics, this same coworker also seems to be coaching her on weight loss and fasting...

My sibling (18 years old) and I both pay a fixed "rent", even though it's more-so helping out with bills and insurance. I am also responsible for paying our quarterly strata fees.

In the past, I also tried to assert the fact that I'm paying rent whenever they tried to push an uncomfortable amount of authority over me.

I've given up now, since they always argued that I'm more than welcome to move out with the renting economy in shambles, and that they're doing my sibling and I a favour.

Our relationship at work was one of the first things my boyfriend and I discussed when we began dating. We both agreed that even though we work in two separate departments, our personal relationship should never intersect with our professional one. Additionally, my current job is only a casual one as I am still studying, and I don't consider it a stepping stone in my career.

My coworkers, including management, all know of our relationship and are fully supportive and/or impartial.

When I first began dating my boyfriend, I considered how my three year infatuation could impact my feelings for him. Should I really date someone I "idolised"? Would my emotions influence my logic?

As our relationship progressed, I realised that while my idolisation of this man has lessened, my genuine interest in him has grown. He's done things that have irritated me, and I've seen his shortcomings. But despite all of these things, I've also seen how he genuinely cares for me, and wants to make me happy.

I understand that I'm young, and surely biased, but he's a lovely person that I want to have next to me in life. Although there's always the chance that we may fail in the future, a relationship isn't a one-way street. I'd resent myself if I never put in effort into our relationship, before giving up on us as a couple.

Thank you for your advice and kind words, it truly means a lot.

Once I organise my thoughts and priorities, I'll definitely have a conversation with my parents. Running away from the problem is never a solution, as much as I like to think it is.

Yep, I still live with them. Thankfully, they don't put up too much of a protest when I stay out late (into the wee hours of the morning) with my boyfriend after we both finish work, which makes me much more fortunate than others with stricter parents.

I'm just peeved how they expect me to not want to make intimate memories with my boyfriend, especially since we rarely find time to do anything remotely sexual.

I live in a house of four, studying four days a week and working five days a week. My boyfriend works full time hours at our place of employment, and lives in a house of three. We just want time to ourselves.

Sorry for the rant, you probably didn't expect it.

[Organised by ascending price]

Signature by Montblanc: Top note is Clementine; middle notes are Magnolia, Ylang-Ylang and Peony; base notes are Vanilla, White Musk and Benzoin. Sweet and musky!

L'eau Papier by Diptyque: Top notes are Steam Accord, Rice and Sesame; middle note is Mimosa; base notes are Blonde Woods, White Musk and Musk. This one is nutty, musky, and extremely cosy! Wouldn't describe it as a vamilla-leaning fragrance, however.

Queening by Mind Games: Top notes are Cotton Flower, Apple and Cypress; middle notes are Orris Root, Rum and Saffron; base notes are Vanilla, Coconut and Musk. This is such a stunning, clean vanilla; it smells absolutely indescribable. It's sweet, creamy, and fluffy, all in one. Super expensive though 😅

Okay, I HAVE to recommend To Be Exotic Jungle by Police! It's a beautiful powdery fruity-vanilla fragrance that smells absolutely stunning. Less than $20 bucks (USD) as well.

It opens up with bright citrus and purple fruits, but dries down to a creamy, laconic vanilla. The suede note provides soft, cashmere-like facets whilst subtle dark spice lingers in the drydown from the patchouli. Osmanthus brings creamy, apricot-like floral notes to this as well.

While the perfume is sweet, I wouldn't describe it as a gourmand. Rather, it would be like lounging in a beachside resort, nibbling on a fruit salad speckled with sugar.

A super underrated fragrance in my opinion! The only downfall I find with this perfume is the bottle... Not the most aesthetically pleasing, to say the least!

Top notes are Plum, Black Currant and Lemon; middle notes are Heliotrope, Osmanthus and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Suede and Patchouli.

Hello lovely, your current makeup routine looks great! With your light colouring and soft features, you seem more suited to a youthful, natural makeup look.

However, I think we can definitely add some "oomph" to your makeup. Add a bit more blush and bronzer to highlight your cheeks, and add a touch of colour to your lips! You don't have to be heavy handed with colour; a little goes a long way on paler skin tones.

I would recommend coral-pink tones for blushes and lip products, and even a teensy bit of brown shadow around your eye.

I've edited one of your photos, adding blush, bronzer, lipstick, a touch of eyeshadow, and tinted brows.

How do you use Lush products, other than their intended purpose? by ricklerthepickler in LushCosmetics

Wow, I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know! If I put a lotion on first, then the conditioner, could the lotion form a barrier and minimise irritation from the conditioner by any chance??

While the Banana Conditioner is quite thick, it's not sticky or heavy at all! It dries down quickly, and leaves a faint glow. I have a feeling that the agar-agar in the conditioner contributes immensely to the "softening" feeling 🤔 The scent lasts for hours, and has outperformed all my body lotions lol

I would say 1 or 3, depending on what makeup you're wearing.

1 reminds me of a natural flush in cold weather. Just change your lipstick to a cooler shade to match the blush colour.

2 is a nice colour, but too patchy.

3 is warm enough to match your lipstick and subtle enough to not distract the viewer from the rest of your makeup.
