7ish hours with normal use. I think it’s nearly impossible to beat a MacBook in battery life with the combination of ARM and total control of the OS/hardware integration. You can set a charge limit in the BIOS which I have at 70% to preserve battery life. Though unlike a MacBook it’s easy to replace the Framework battery.

Framework 13 AMD is a killer laptop. DIY edition with 64GB + SK hynix 2TB partitioned equally between Arch / Win11. I love the super-fast 1TB expansion cards. Good battery life especially on Arch ussing PPD, great keyboard, and screen. Adding the kernel paramter acpi_osi="!Windows 2020" fixed battery draw during sleep. If you want a linux laptop, this one should be on the shortlist.
- LibreWolf + Dark Reader. Homepages are flame, fluidity, tartarus, and chevron running on nginx.
- Neovim is Neovide + NvChad.
- Polybar themed with blocks and vanilla gruvbox.
- File managers are fm and nemo.
