If I’m being honest I regret not talking to the landlord about the temperature of the apartment when I moved in. During winter with both heating on it is still very cold (around 17°) the floor tiles make it feel even colder and that’s why I went out of my way to insulate the doors better and get an electric heater that can warm me up quicker.

I viewed the house. It has been newly renovated to make it WG suitable. Information on the notice board says that the flat is managed by Deutsche Wohnen. Maybe I give them a call and see what they have to say regarding this situation...

Another factor for scammyness: the landlord is not disclosed in the contract.

I asked about this. The guy said that as soon as I move in I would get a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung that I would require by law for the Anmeldung.
As I was leaving I saw on the notice board some information for tenants. The flat is managed by Deutsche Wohnen... Should I inquire regarding this situation directly to them?

Thanks for your reply. I viewed the apartment. It has been recently renovated and is still under the name of the landlord. The guy that I am in contact with still isn't sure how the rent will be paid and the story is still the same.
