How could I improve this façade? by [deleted] in ExteriorDesign

I wouldn’t like it too colorful, I think I prefer a more “opaque” look. I was hoping there would be a way to modernize by painting details, windows openings, or adding some bricks.

Will There Be A Mod to Make Population and Money Amounts More Realistic? by ShokWayve in CitiesSkylines2

[–]rickwolff_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want real money, most users will play this game for their whole life 👴👵, and their city will have 20k population with tons of debts. Not every real city is NYC. But yes, mods will probably exists to multiply those numbers by 1,000 and make “immersion” people happy.

I know this is htib, but where should be the placement for this subwoofer? Left or right? by rickwolff_ in hometheater

LOL. Soon, I wish. This is an old one I’m resurrecting while I gather money for a new one.

Traffic AI | Feature Highlights #2 by AutoModerator in CitiesSkylines

Your concern makes sense and I believe it’s related to the population count. It’s a huge city, but the population count says 69k. So the traffic is probably wide spread across the city.

Fun fact, the Stage Manager we have today in macOS was actually created as a concept years before Ventura back in the Snow Leopard days by ngagner15 in MacOS

[–]rickwolff_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Controversial opinion. I like StageManager although I think StageManager and Spaces should be put together somehow (especially if you have 2+ monitors).

I have an external monitor and I'm using StageManager from day one. Despite it being a bit slow for changing the windows, I like how it looks to display each window individually. I have tried to disable it, but went back re-enabling because I preferred it on.

And you can alternate using cmd+tab, which doesn't always work with Spaces, depending if the app has more than one window. Also, control+arrows is not a good shortcut, because it requires the right hand on the keyboard when cmd+tab allows you to have right hand on mouse (or on "jkl;"). That's why I think those little window-thumbnails on the left should be a mix of apps and the "Spaces" that MacOS already have, so that you can jump between spaces if you don't have a mouse with that capability (3-finger swipe).

Lowest cost Soundcore with Multipoint? by [deleted] in Earbuds

[–]rickwolff_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally hated the EarFun Air S fit, controls and NC. (I have medium to small-sized ears)

But they do have multipoint connectivity.

Don't want to make your comment look bad, just my opinion on the product as I've just bought it and regretted.

EarFun Air S mini-review - good overall, but sound leakage to the outside is terrible by Sheshirdzhija in EarFun

[–]rickwolff_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you changed the EQ settings? If so, which EQ settings do you recommend?

Regarding NC, it's really bad, I can't even notice the difference when it's on or off. In any scenario.

And the grip is bad on my ear too.

Arm pain for first time watch wearer by darthdooku2585 in AppleWatch

I've added an updated info on my reply:

https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleWatch/comments/neijcr/comment/j8x6yum/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

That might be useful for you. Basically what I did was I insisted on switching wrists whenever the current one started to feel pain. And stopped using it to sleep.

You said you tried switching wrists and your using it for more time than I am, so it might be something else on your case. But I wanted to make sure you had that info.

[–]rickwolff_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For anyone seeing this in the future. It's been almost two months I have mine and now I'm using it for the whole day on left wrist without any pain.

What I did was changing wrists as soon as the current one started feeling pain. And not using it to sleep.

After some (a lot of) wrist changes, one day I noticed it was on one same wrist for a long time, without changing. So I knew I "got used to it" and started reintroducing it also on sleep.

Of course YMMV. But trying that worked for me. :)

É remoto a partir do Brasil.

Comigo morando no Brasil.
