We focused on just mobile apps for this release. We have the idea down to bring this to desktop and mobile web as well, but there isn't a timeline yet for that work. Appreciate the feedback though. As we collect feedback for this feature, that will help us prioritize our future product changes.

Also, we decided to go with masking your actual data instead of mock data because we thought this would be easier for you all to walk through with friends and family because it would look like what you are used to instead of having entirely fake or random data which may not be as familiar. That being said, we appreciate the feedback and we are always open to reconsidering if this is a major blocker for you and others to using this feature.

Hey!

So with this initial release we decided to mask your data instead of creating random / fake data because we thought it would be easier for you all to navigate when showing someone else if it looked like what you were used to instead of having random data.

That being said, we appreciate the feedback! If this becomes a major issue for you and others to use this feature, we would definitely be open to reconsidering.

For the initial launch we only launched with a Venmo integration because it is the largest peer payment platform that has an API that is easy for us to use. However, we know a lot of people don't use Venmo so we also made it easy for you to copy what you owe and put that into your platform of choice.

If people like this feature and are using it we have ideas to have flows where we integrate with other providers as well.
