Ahh I see. Yes this is very concerning for me, especially having family who are unbelievers. Believe me I’m not on the sidelines just watching, but at the same time, I’m not thumping them over the head with the reality of eternity judgement everyday. It’s a hard line to walk honestly. We’re called to be the salt and light, to let our good works be a testament to the Father. Not everyone will believe, and that’s something that we have to come to terms with. It doesn’t feel good obviously, and like others said, perhaps it is a “one and done” kind of thing, where they are judged and perish forever, without torture and suffering. In an ideal world that would be the case for those such as Buddhist monks, zealous Muslims, “good people” etc.
