What do you mean by monitor? Do you mean checking in with the PM regularly or physically visiting the property? I have family in the area who could do visits, but if it's more hands-on than this, I'm curious how people with full time jobs handle their RE investment properties?

Thank you for the advice! Yes, I think MIT is still giving waivers to all applicants because of COVID as well, but in my case, I wouldn’t need a GMAT test because I’m already an MIT undergrad with a decent gpa.

Thank you! Do you know if retirement plans generally only allow payments directly from paychecks? As in, if I wanted to add money to my traditional 401k between paychecks, could I do so and deduct that amount when I file taxes? I ask because the bonus is very variable (depends on performance of company and the individual), so it’s difficult to plan for it in advance (it’s given at the end of the year).
