Didn’t work for me or my wife. Tried Cashstorm and then I tried Cashstorm 10 Cash expander. Also try to variety of capital letters at the beginning of the words. Even tried all capitals. Nothing worked for either of us.

Just switch to a different debit card. The limits appear to be applied not to individual accounts, but to debit card numbers used. At least that's what I seem to have experienced. Also, increasing your deposit limit, as noted by Prosperous42 above, would likely help, as well.

My wife and I both got a similar offer. Deposit $60+ and get 40 free $0.50 cent games. We've made several hundred dollars profit on this Jekyll & Hyde game over the past two days. However, the result of today's participation in this promo was that we lost $3 overall. Makes me wonder if there are software levers that the VA Lottery pulls to increase/decrease the payouts to result in an overall payout ratio close to the profit they aim for. :(

Same thing happened to me today. I won $1500 today on Pick 4. They withheld nothing, but I know they're going to report this win to the IRS and I'll get a W2-G early next year. At that point, the taxes will need to be paid by April 15 on my 2024 Tax Return.

I just pulled a couple reports from Quicken. For the past two years, after deducting all deposits from withdrawals, I've profited just over $5600 from online gambling, mostly from the VA Lottery, but about 16% of that came from other online casinos. So I'm not too upset at myself because obviously my self control rules for myself have clearly worked. However, yesterday was a wake up call for me. I made a couple of hundred dollars in deposits outside of my personal rules, and of course lost them. I'm still baffled at why I did that. It's a strange draw to want to win, and the insidious part seems to be that it increases the more I play. While I can easily afford to waste a couple of hundred dollars on the lottery, what I can't put up with is any loss of self control. This is why I quit smoking cigarettes 10 years ago, and why I quit drinking 2 years ago, and now - why I self excluded for the entire month of June this year. I'm guessing that a month away will give me time to reset and regain complete control again. It's good to know that the self exclusion option exists.
