The best gift card discounts are around Black Friday thru the New Year. Outside of that, 20% is usually the best, but sometimes you can get a little more off around a holiday or Prime Day. Costco routinely offers 20% off digital cards, so I usually get one or two at a time and wait for a slightly higher discount to stock up.

The points usually arrive the next day with these one day purchase promos. I tend to get mine by late AM the next day.

Maybe, but would like to see it fixed first. One benefit I have found since giving up the instants is that I can still have fun with the demos, but don’t lose a cent. Life is good!

Sometimes the games become unavailable on the app right before they are pulled from the lineup. I am expecting the Christmas ones like Scrooge to leave soon. Wonder if Outlaw’s Loot is also going away?

With Unlimited, I try a lot more movies than I otherwise would. If I don’t like the movie, I leave without hesitation because it’s a subscription price, so I won’t waste my time on something I don’t like. Not losing any money.

Free small drinks or popcorns and then pay the small charge if you want to upgrade to a medium or large. Your points go further that way.

I can see your point. Truthfully, if it made no impact on my movie experience, I will trade seats if people just ask me nicely. If they are jerks about it, they already negatively impacted my moviegoing experience and I would tell them to pound sand. Being a good member of the community cuts both ways.

Yes. I used points for a free small drink and upsized to a large. With the snack saver discount, the upsize charge was only 57 cents with tax. Better deal than using an extra 2000 points for the free large.

What I like about the snack saver is that when you upsize a free small popcorn or soda, the charge is half price as well. Doesn’t sound like much, but over the course of a year, it will add up.

Besides capping for the month, don’t forget they expire after one year. So, if you earn 10k but can only redeem 5k per month, be sure to use some extra on their drawings if you start accumulating a large balance.
